Hillsboro- Isaac S. Hamiton, 95, died at his home in Hillsboro Tuesday evening after being seriously ill the past two weeks.

He was born Jan 6, 1865 in Monroe County, Ky, the son of John and Catherine Hamilton. He moved to Indiana when a young man and was married to Elizabeth Osborn in 1900. She preceded him in death.

He was a former postmaster of Hillsboro and assistant cashier of the Hillsboro State Bank a number of years. He was a 50-year membr of Hillsboro Masonic Lodge and member of Knights of Pythias. He also served as clerk of Hillsboro Christian Church and secretary of the of the Hillsboro Build & Loan Association until he retired about 10 years ago.  Survivors are nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro after noon Thursday.

Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. - kbz
